RESTOCK FOR FREE SUPPLIES DAY WITH ME! This was in preparation for yesterday, when we - you guessed it - distributed FREE SUPPLIES of all types during our normal free community meal service. This happens every 1st and 15th of the month! This time, we had SIX boxes this size, and I wanted to show y’all what we brought! Wanna see what’s left in the box after distro? 💚

There’s a reason my job title is “Executive Director” and not “Food Photographer Extraordinaire.” But this pasta is too tasty not to document! Tonight’s FREE community meal menu is cheesy smoked sausage penne, served with fruit punch to drink and fruit cups, cereal bars, and Pop Tarts to take with for later! 💚

Where: Covered pavilion at Sam Duff Memorial Park, 9036 Chapman Hwy

When: Daily, from 6 pm until 6:30 pm (or until food runs out, whichever comes first)

We’ll have HR-themed prizes, gift cards for Hey Bear, and Knox Needs swag too! Cost to play? Whatever you feel a night of gay hockey fun is worth! Suggested donation is $15 per player. All profits will benefit Knox Needs, so you’re helping us help others while spending a fun Saturday night out. What could be better? GAMEPLAY STARTS AT 5:30, ARRIVE EARLY (~5-5:15) TO SIGN YOURSELF/YOUR TEAM UP. Who are we going to see there? 💚

Knoxville, we’ve done good things. We were able to distribute emergency bags to everyone who attended our community dinners on 1/23 or 1/24, just before the start of our current winter weather event. These bags contained approximately 3 days worth of food, plus a scarf, two pairs of gloves, two pairs of socks, 3 pairs of hand warmers, 3 Mylar emergency blankets, and hand sanitizer. I had to get helpers to bring in another vehicle to transport all the supplies, because they would BARELY all fit between two cars! I’m so grateful to everyone who helped make this possible 💚
