We have lots of different categories of free supplies that we bring out on the 1st and 15th! Restock the menstrual supplies and reproductive health products with us in this ASMR video. Should we post the first aid box or the hair/teeth box next? 👀

Friends, our pasta shelf is in a sorry state. Each community dinner takes 4-5 boxes of pasta and 3-5 jars of sauce, and we have NO pasta sauce and about a dozen boxes of pasta total. Can you please help us to refill the shelf by ordering some ingredients off our wishlist? 💚

Sometimes, you gotta laugh. Today I was at Walmart, getting shredded cheese and sour cream for tonight’s community dinner (burrito bowls!) and realized our supplies box needed an OTC medicine restock. Got all the way to checkout before I realized why people were staring. Yep, today my job was buying 6 lbs of cheese, 2 lb of sour cream… and 15 packs of anti-diarrhea meds 🤣 🧀

Our cost today was $36.46. Are you able to help us recoup any of those costs by giving even a dollar or two to our community meal program fundraiser? You can decide if it’s in honor of the cheese or the meds for the resulting tummy aches 😝

Local puppies and their owners need your help! Twice a month, we distribute supplies (pet food, first aid supplies, hygiene products, etc) at our free community dinners. Right now, we are ENTIRELY OUT of dog food, and supplies day is TOMORROW, 9/15! Can you help us restock even one bag in time to make sure our furry friends get a meal tomorrow too? 💚

Woah, it’s a rare Executive Director cameo! I (Skylar) like to stay behind the scenes, but I wanted to show you how easy it can be to volunteer and cook one of our community meals. This entire meal prep took me less than 45 minutes! Check out the end of the video for info on how YOU can volunteer to help feed our neighbors in need 💚

INGREDIENTS:
4 (1 lb) boxes of penne
5 (23.75 oz) jars of Ragu Tomato Ricotta sauce
1 (14.5 oz) can of diced tomatoes w/ green chilis (Rotel)
1 bag (40 count) frozen sausage patties
1/2 cup milk

INSTRUCTIONS:
Boil pasta according to package directions, drain and set aside. Brown sausage patties in pan over med-high heat, then dice. Combine with DRAINED diced tomatoes and chilis. Heat jarred sauce over medium heat, add sausage-tomato mix and pasta. Stir together thoroughly and serve hot! Enjoy! 💚

We need YOUR help to restock some of the staple ingredients for our community meals! We are down to our LAST box of rice, last bottle of milk, and very few pasta sauces left. Without y’all, we couldn’t do what we do. Check below for the info on how to help! 💚
