URGENT: We are in desperate need of several basic items for our supplies day giveaway happening this week! There are so many things that most of us take for granted, that are highly sought-after supplies for our unhoused or low-income neighbors. A toothbrush. Ibuprofen. A bandaid. Shampoo. Just a couple dollars can give some much-needed relief to those who need it most. Please help us clear out the wishlist and get these items out to our community! 💚

WOW, another community meal has been “adopted”, and dedicated to the one, the only, Fred Rogers! Knox Needs tries to embody so many of the values that he put forth on his show, Mr. Rogers’ Neighborhood, so we are honored that Anonymous A chose to pledge a donation to us in his honor.

URGENT NEED: Knox Needs serves a FREE community meal every single day in S. Knoxville, averaging over 1,000 plates served every month. We are watching more and more people flock to our program for their only reliable meal of the day, and we are struggling to keep up with the demand. We urgently need YOUR help to make our program sustainable. There are two ways you can help!

MEAL VOLUNTEER: Our volunteers cook community meals in the comfort of their own home. There is no long-term commitment to serving, you do not have to buy your own ingredients, and you choose the day you cook/serve. All volunteers go through a thorough online training process, capped off with serving their first meal alongside Knox Needs Leadership. To apply, visit www.KnoxNeeds.com/volunteer

DONATIONS: We are entirely donation-based, without federal grants or large corporate sponsorships. This means we desperately need support from community members like YOU to keep our program running.
