There will be no April Guild meeting, and also no Guild Board meeting.

The Guild is essentially shut down as we can no longer hold any gatherings at Chota Rec Center

and Christ Our Savior Church is also closed to us.

For those of you with a Phd in quilting (Projects half done), now is your golden opportunity!

Please continue with social distancing to stay healthy and quilting to stay sane.

The guest speaker will be Suzi Parron. Suzi travels full time by RV, speaking to quilt guilds, libraries, civic organizations--whoever would like to hear more about barn quilts! Her talk will take us on a journey along the quilt trail, beginning with the very first barn quilt, which stemmed from Donna Sue Groves and her wish to honor her mother's quilting art. The presentation features over one hundred stunning photographs of barn quilts, some of which rival cloth quilts in their intricacy. You will hear stories of some of the individuals who have painted quilt blocks to honor loved ones or their local culture, along with a few humorous anecdotes.
