Phi Beta Lambda-ΦΒΛ University of Tennessee Knoxville UTK FBLA-PBL is an organization of students from all majors who come together to learn the necessary skills to excel in the business world.

FBLA-PBL is headquartered in Reston,Virginia,and organized on local,state,and national levels. Business teachers,advisers,and advisory councils (including school officials,businesspeople,and community representatives) guide local chapters. State advisers and committee members coordinate chapter activities for the national organization. The FBLA concept was developed in 1937 by Dr. Hamden L. Forkne

r of Columbia University. The first high school chapter was chartered in Johnson City,Tennessee on February 3,1942. In 1958,the first PBL collegiate chapter was chartered in Iowa. The Professional Division,originally the Alumni Division,began in 1979. Joining FBLA-PBL in 1994 was the FBLA-Middle Level for students in grades 5-9. The national board of directors is comprised of local teachers,state educators,business leaders,and the division presidents.

Hello Everyone,
Reminder: There has been a change in the date for Meeting Three.
To accommodate for a guest speaker, the meeting has been changed for tomorrow; Monday, October 24th. HBB 201 at 6:00pm.
Guest speaker will be Alesia Carter, the State of TN PBL Advisor.

Side note: Remember that we will be taking in new members throughout the year, so it is never too late to join!

Hello Everyone!

Meeting two will be held October 12th, HBB 302, 6-7pm.
We are going to be continuously taking in new members for quite a while, so all are welcome regardless if they came to the interest meeting or not!
This upcoming meeting, we will be primarily discussing Competitions, i.e how you earn recognition, Scholarships, Internships, business skills, and resume rights!!!

Hello Everyone! I'm excited to announce that Future Business Leaders of America-PBL is officially up and running this year, and we are ready to have our first Interest meeting! It's time to start shaping our Business Careers!
The first meeting will be held 1 week from today, Sept 28th, in HBB 302 from 6-7pm. More announcements will be posted closer to the meeting date.
