School of Hard Knox Changing lives through food My heart for this is really relationships with the kids. They have so much potential and I am here as a “seed sower” per say.

A chance for them to be able to meet these chefs, see different jobs in food service and meet business owners in Knoxville and be able to connect with them through food. I want to unleash their potential for greatness. Austin East is overlooked. People in our community need to see their talent. My heart is to change the trajectory of their lives. My vision is to see our kids work for our local res

taurants in own and eventually opening their own in their community. I want to bridge the gaps in Knoxville, we have a social, economic and racial divide. This is a way to change a little of that through food and relationships developed. This is a skill building and relationship building program. It’s an art and a craft through food with chefs that have great restaurants in our city. Relationships with our kids will change lives, the students’ lives and the chef’s lives.
