⛳️💛 Golfing for a Great Cause!
Another Brittany Johnson Golf Challenge is in the books at beautiful WindRiver in Lenoir City!

Each year, Crystal Meldrum, Brittany Johnson’s mother, organizes this special tournament in her daughter’s memory, bringing golfers together for a day of fun, competition and giving back.
Throughout the tournament, players had opportunities to make additional donations for mulligans, take a shot with the AR golf ball launcher and compete for some pretty exciting prizes—including a range finder for a hole-in-one on #7 and $10,000 for an ace on #17! 💰
And this year, we had an ACE! 🎯

Congratulations to Mickey Davison, who scored a HOLE-IN-ONE on #7, winning a range finder! What a moment to celebrate!

Most importantly, the day helps support the Brittany Johnson Memorial Scholarship Fund, providing educational opportunities for students throughout East Tennessee Foundation’s 25-county service area. Here is how the rest of the tournament stacked up:

💛🏌️‍♂️ A Day of Golf. A Community of Giving. A Legacy That Lives On.
After the final putt dropped at this year’s Brittany Johnson Golf Challenge, golfers gathered for our post-tournament luncheon, where plenty of door prizes were handed out and we celebrated another wonderful day together.

But behind every prize, every mulligan, every swing and every donation is the reason this tournament exists: Brittany Johnson.
Brittany followed Christ, and the scholarship created in her memory allows her legacy to continue by helping young people pursue their education.

Each year, Brittany’s mother, Crystal Meldrum, puts her heart into organizing this tournament and bringing people together in her daughter’s memory. Because of Crystal, our golfers, donors, sponsors, volunteers and supporters, Brittany’s name continues to be connected with something incredibly meaningful—helping someone else build a brighter future.

To everyone who participated this year: thank you.

Thank you for giving.
Thank you for remembering Brittany.

⛳️💛 More Than a Golf Tournament — A Legacy That Continues

Each year, golfers gather at WindRiver in Lenoir City for the Brittany Johnson Golf Challenge, but the heart behind this special day goes far beyond the golf course.

The tournament supports the Brittany Johnson Memorial Scholarship Fund through East Tennessee Foundation, established in memory of Brittany Johnson to help East Tennessee students pursue an undergraduate degree.

Brittany was a young woman who followed Christ, and today her memory continues to make a difference in the lives of others. Her mother, Crystal Meldrum, lovingly organizes the Golf Challenge each year, bringing together friends, golfers and supporters to celebrate Brittany’s life while helping create opportunities for students in our community.

The scholarship aids, with preference given to students with a financial need—particularly female basketball players attending Maryville College.

Every registration, donation, mulligan and extra bit of fun on tournament day helps support a purpose much bigger than the scorecard.

It’s about remembering Brittany, giving back and continuing a legacy of faith, generosity and opportunity. 💛

It has taken me far to long to post this album, but please know I am truly grateful for the support and love this years event showed us yet again. It was our largest event with 25 teams and 99 players and countless volunteers that made the day perfect!
To say I am blessed is an understatement and it sure warms this mommas heart to see her girl still have a reach thru this event which funds The Brittany Johnson Memorial Fund annually 💛
We had lots of fun, laughter, and smiles on a day that is devoted to the smile we miss each day!
Thank you to every single one of you who volunteered your time, donated to the fund or the event, and all of you who played and hung out with us!
We love you Britt and miss you always! 💛💛💛
