You might not be able to see her problems, but don't be mistaken. We were told by Saffy's owner that she has a grade II heart murmur, but turns out it is more complicated than that.
Saffy has several congenital heart defects that we have now identified after she saw a cardiologist. Anesthesia is risky, but she needs to have her palate shortened, as it is affecting how she breathes, and she needs to get spayed so she doesn't end up with pyometra and require emergency surgery.
Saffy is full of life and loves everyone she meets. And we need to give her the best life we can, as her time could be shortened due to her heart defects. The cardiologist believes she will start showing signs of the defects within the next 2 to 3 years, and she is only 3 years old.
Please help us to get her the care she needs so she can live her best life!

Pugsey is healing up nicely. She has had to have 2 more procedures since the initial one, but she is feeling better and is ready to get rid of the cone! Her stitches came apart after the first surgery, and then a small part opened back up after the second. But all looks good now and hopefully the cone will be off and she can start running and playing and using the doggy door that she desperately tries to use now but can't get through next week.

This is rescue. A 9-year-old female needs to be rehomed. We are told she is healthy, no issues. But we still have a protocol we follow in rescue (thank GOD!) And so we meet the owner at the vet to get her a checkup before heading over to her new family.
From about 10 feet away, in the parking lot, I get a distinct whiff of infection. This "healthy" dog with "no issues" has horrible ear infections, a filthy coat, a nose rope infection, and eye infections mainly from having her cherry eye removed years earlier and not giving her the proper eye drops since.

People hit hard times. Divorces happen. Life gets tough. But this is exactly why we get all dogs vetted prior to rehoming. Because one person's healthy can quickly become rescue's higher-than-anticipated vet bill.

The good news is, Maddie is doing well in her foster home. After arriving there, she quickly got a bath (her ears were cleaned at the vet) and got started on meds to help her feel better. She has a home anxiously waiting for her once she is ready.

Miss Maddie is an older girl looking to have her senior years filled with the love and comforts her current mama is no longer able to provide. Luckily for Maddie, her mom recognizes this and reached out to rescue for help.
Maddie is 9 years old and loves her comfy big bed, plush toys (she will pick which one she wants out of the basket), is house trained, and thoroughly enjoys belly rubs and back scratches!

Hello, world. Our names are Leia and Paige. We are sisters and about 4 years old. Our family life has become too busy and mom doesn’t have enough time to spend with us, so we are looking for another home.
We would really like to stay together, but the people at rescue said we could go to our own homes, too, if that means we can find a home of our own easier.
We are house and crate trained. Not sure if we like other dogs or just each other.

Winston was adopted today. His daddy needed a new buddy, and Winston was happy to oblige. He has already found his spot on the couch, and his daddy said they are helping each other's hearts heal.
This is a true rags-to-riches story. Winston got ONE shot as a puppy and was never seen by a vet again. His family didn't have time or the resources to care for him. Then his new dad comes along and he will be the center of his world. No more worries, Winston. You are home and safe and loved immensely!!

Clyde was adopted this week. His family is absolutely in love with him, and he made himself right at home with them. Thank you to every single one of you who donated towards Pugsey's care!!!!
Her surgery went well, but she is still having some draining, some swelling, and diarrhea, so we were back at the vet this morning to get some help with all of that.
Your support means the world to us and helps us continue our mission and help those who need us the most!!!
Pugsey says she loves the new food she got today and her new "outfit of the day"!!!

UPDATE: For those of you asking and willing to help, here is more info on location. Dad truly feels someone took him, so please keep your eyes peeled on places that will give away dogs or if your neighbor all of a sudden has a new dog!!

Rescue family, one of our own needs our help. Re*****on was out going potty and went missing. His dad is beside himself and is gathering a team of people to go look for him.
He was in the Maryville area.

Please keep an eye out for him or if you see him popping up for sale/rehoming, please contact us.
Re*****on does NOT like other dogs.
