The citizens and refugees of Ukraine know that we are hosting a fundraiser for them starting Saturday, May 7 at the pavilion in Bissell Park from 4:30-9:00 and ends on June 1st. The mayor of Rabka-zdroj and citizens from Ukraine are thanking us for our help! Make sure to donate!

The Parks and Rec department of Oak Ridge has joined us in the effort to raise funds for the children of Ukraine residing in Rabka-zdroj. The Oak Ridge Youth Advisory Board has pledged $3,000 dollars to the cause and the City is providing in-kind donations for our concert on Saturday, May 7 from 4:30-9 at the Pavilion to kick off our fundraising campaign.
Our goal is to get everyone involved! One US dollar equates to four in Poland so no donation is too small!

On May 7th, Mother’s Day weekend, from 4:30-9 pm join us at the Pavilion as we kick off a fundraiser to help feed and cloth the children and families of Ukraine. A small town called Rabka-zdroj in Poland has received an influx of over 1500 refugees. Local Oak Ridgers and owners of Razzleberry’s Ice Cream Lab, Waldek and Ilona Kaczocha are in communication with city officials in Rabka-zdroj, Poland. A group of concerned citizens/businesses with the help of City of Oak Ridge would like to encourage everyone to support this worthy cause. No donation is too small, one US dollar is equal to 4 dollars in Poland.Help make a difference in the lives of these children by donating funds via the United Way of Anderson County, who have graciously offered to set up a special account for this event. The fundraiser will last until June 1st which is International Children’s Day in European countries.
