WiSTAR3 is back this Fall 2021 with a virtual mentoring speed networking event for STEM graduate on October 6, 2021 from 5:30-7:00 PM.

This program is designed for graduate students to receive one-on-one mentoring from professional STEM women!

The TCE Women's Faculty Group and Anti-Racism and Allyship Task Force, along with the Commission for Women, the Division of Diversity and Engagement and WiSTAR3, is hosting a panel discussion of the film Picture a Scientist (full documentary available to stream through the UTK library: https://www-filmplatform-net.proxy.lib.utk.edu/product/picture-a-scientist/) on March 16 at 5:30pm - 6:30pm.

The film is about the experiences of women studying and working in STEM, and we are hoping to focus our panel discussion on what can be done, what is being done, and what will be done in the future to make STEM a welcoming and inclusive community for everyone.

The panel, moderated by Dr. Jamie Coble, includes Dr. Kate Jones, Dr. Yolanda Kirkpatrick, and Dr. Deborah Penchoff. Submit your questions for the panelists beforehand here (https://tcepictureascientist.questionpro.com).
