Compassion in Action would like to thank the Deborah Dunbar Mauldin family for their generous donation! Even though we are fast approaching our second year without having a fundraiser, we are still able to provide some financial relief to those who have encountered this barrier in their fight! God always makes a way! Cancer NEVER takes break and neither do we! đź’•

June is National Cancer Survivor Month!

Please join us and the American Association for Cancer Research in support of this awareness campaign celebrating those who have fought the disease and those who are currently in treatment.

Thanks to spectacular advances in cancer research, more than 16.9 million people in the United States are cancer survivors who are living with, through, and beyond their disease.

Today we remember and honor those who fought for our freedom.

We Need Your Help!

We began this fund in 2009 to help uninsured and under insured women receive breast imaging. We have paid for mammograms, breast ultrasound, breast biopsies and breast MRI. We receive referrals from physician offices and/or hospital staff throughout the area. We have helped cancer patients pay utility bills, house payments, cancer medications, etc.

Without the support of our community, it would be impossible to raise the much-needed funds.

For 10 years we put on The Pink Ribbon Celebration, and this year are doing a new event "Comedy Kicks Cancer". With just one fundraiser per year, and the growing need for assistance, it's hard to raise enough money to fill as many needs as we would like.

Every little bit helps! Please consider attending our event on November 14th or making a monetary donation here. ~ God Bless.
