We loved welcoming our local firefighters to Emory Mills for an afternoon of delicious food, laughter, and time spent getting to know our residents!

Our Memory Care residents put on their scientist hats for a little hands-on experiment—making apple volcanoes!

When families wonder what everyday life in Memory Care looks like, this is part of the answer. Days can be filled with opportunities to try something different, stay curious, participate, laugh together and maybe even make an apple erupt. 😊

At Emory Mills, our team members are here to provide the support our residents need, but somewhere along the way, something more happens. They learn the little things that make someone smile, celebrate the good days, offer reassurance when it’s needed, and become familiar faces residents are happy to see.

For families, having a trusted team surrounding someone you love means you don’t have to carry every part of their care alone.

And sometimes, you can see that relationship in something as simple as a photo together. 💙

Our residents kicked off the month with an Oktoberfest celebration right here at Emory Mills! Good food, festive fun, and plenty of smiles made for an afternoon worth celebrating.

We may be a few thousand miles from Munich, but that certainly didn’t stop us from getting into the Oktoberfest spirit! 😊

A little outing and a whole lot of fall color! 🍂🌼

Our residents enjoyed a trip to Home Depot, where a stop in the garden center meant checking out all those beautiful fall mums!

Sometimes the best outings are the simple ones—a change of scenery, a chance to browse, and plenty of colorful things to see along the way. 💙

Now the real question: how many mums is too many mums? Asking for a friend. 😂

Who says carnival fun has an age limit? 🎪🎯💙

Carnival Day brought plenty of smiles to Memory Care at Emory Mills! Our residents spent the day trying their hand at carnival games, choosing temporary tattoos, and jumping into all kinds of fun activities.

Days like this are a little glimpse into what life here can be—staying involved, trying something fun, laughing together, and having plenty to look forward to.

Because Memory Care can still be filled with really good days. 💙
