A little recap of our last few days here in Belize!
1.) VBS at a local primary school! Our songs team is always a hit with the kids!
2.) Sunday for dinner, we split up our team to go have dinner in a church members house. This has been such one of our highlights from the last few years as we get to hear the stories of families in the local church. Everyone is always so hospitable!
3.) Sweet reunion with some friends after not seeing each other for a year! We love our Belizean family and always enjoy catching back up where we started!
4.) There was some unexpected car issues with one of our friends and lucky enough, we have the best mechanics on our team! Now the car is back up and running!
5.) Some of our team felt called to pour into the teachers at the high school we serve at here. We had a time of prayer after a training for teachers on how to take care of themselves while pouring themselves out for their students
6.) A big family picture with some Belizean family! We love y’all!!

It is a true honor to be able to serve alongside King’s Park Church of the Nazarene with Praying Pelican Missions - Belize. Our team is expectant for what God is going to do this week! MISSION STATEMENT: Creating Christ-centered community and deep-rooted relationships to foster spiritual growth
WHEN: May 31st-June 8th, 2025
WHERE: Belize City, Belize
COST: ~$2000 (depending on plane tickets)
WHAT: Come join us as we serve the Lord with our Belizean family in Belize City, Belize! Some things to know about our trip- you will instantly be joining our WBIH family! We serve, love, laugh, sing, dance, and do just about anything you can imagine all alongside our Belizean family. Some typical things be do: lead worship, put on a VBS for primary school kids, teach and play pickleball, host Bible studies, eat meals with some locals, and everything in between! If you are passionate about serving in a specific way, our team loves to incorporate people’s passions, so let us know!

It’s that time of year again to start preparing our 2025 We Belize in Him Mission Trip Team! Our first meeting will be Sunday, January 12th at the Hunter’s house! (DM for the address) If you are interested, this is the time to come to hear what WBIH is all about! Here’s some details about our trip this year:

January 25th our 2025 WBIH team will be hosting a Chili Cookoff! Bring your friends and family as we share more about our team, reflect on years past, and celebrate the people who make our trip possible! This event is something you don’t want to miss!

Hurricane Lisa hit Belize this past Wednesday (11/2) which caused devastation to much of the community we serve in. These pictures include houses of our friends and family. Roofs were lost, homes destroyed, and loss of resources. We are raising some funds to send down to our Belize family to help rebuild during the time. If you or anyone you know feels lead to give, our venmo is . We are trying to send money down this week in order to help immediate needs

WE MADE IT!! Despite having many bumps in the road with getting our team here (and our bags 🙊) we have seen the Lord work!

Saturday we did a city wide scavenger hunt with the church! We loved getting to know more of the church body as well as have some healthy competition 😉

Sunday we lead two church services- one in the morning and one in the evening. Our team lead worship, gave testimonies, lead in prayer, and gave the message! Also, we were able to visit a Children’s home and lead some songs as well as do a skit for them!

Many more stories to come, but the Lord has great things planned! The opposition we’ve experienced is just a sign that the Lord has great plans this week! Please pray for our team and those we will be serving this week!
