We recently celebrated our match of the year at our banquet last month. This one is extra special because this year’s award honors Amachi’s longest match! Heather and Imani will celebrate 11 years of friendship in just a few days!
That means that Imani met Heather just after her 5th birthday, and now she is celebrating her 16th.
Over the years, they’ve built countless memories and walked through so many life stages side by side. Through it all, Heather has been a constant source of encouragement, showing up as a true cheerleader every step of the way. And the support goes both ways – Imani and her mom have been just as uplifting, consistent, and present for Heather.
This friendship is a beautiful reminder of what lasting connection, commitment, and community can look like. 💫
