Today, A-WING remembers September 11, 2001.

We honor the passengers and crews, the people in the towers and at the Pentagon, and the first responders who ran toward danger to help others.

We also remember how, in the face of unimaginable tragedy, people came together. Neighbors helped neighbors. Communities opened their doors.

Our aviation family stood with one another. Please continue to carry that spirit of compassion, courage, and unity forward.

May we remember not only the heartbreak of that day, but also the humanity it revealed.

Never forget.

✈️ Creating clearer pathways into aviation maintenance is essential to addressing the industry’s growing skills shortage.

This interesting article from Aviation Week highlights the GAO’s recommendation that the FAA consider expanding A&P test eligibility for students completing aviation maintenance courses at uncertified institutions.

At A‑Wing, we believe that increasing awareness, improving access to training, and introducing young people to aviation careers earlier are vital to building the next generation of skilled aviation professionals.

There are some people who leave the world a little brighter simply by being unapologetically themselves.
Dolly Parton was one of those people.

Her story, her generosity, her determination, and her belief in giving others a chance have inspired generations. And for us at A-WING, a charity founded in Tennessee, that spirit feels especially meaningful. ✈️

Dolly reminded us that you can dream big, stay true to who you are, lift others up, and still reach for the stars.

The world may be a little less sparkly without her, but her legacy will continue to shine—and Dolly will continue to inspire us to soar higher. 💕✈️
