✨ After eight incredible years as a WiE Admin, it’s time for me to officially pass the torch.

I joined this amazing community back in 2018, helping manage the Facebook group, plan events, and eventually launching our Instagram page in 2020. Since then, I’ve had the joy of connecting with so many of you—celebrating your wins, sharing your stories, and watching this community grow into something truly powerful. 💪

Being part of WiE has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career. Thank you for the conversations, collaborations, and countless moments of inspiration. 🥹 (happy tears)

I’m not leaving Knoxville (or WiE!)—just stepping back from my admin role to make space for new energy and ideas.

Thank you you too my past co-admin’s & for paving the way for this amazing community. Thank you to my current co-admins .lawson and Allyson Virden for all the hard work in progress we’ve made this year in staying organized! Thank you you to the team for your continued support of our WiE community! And thank you to all of YOU for allowing me this role of a lifetime! 🫶🏻✨

Keep showing up as the badass women entrepreneurs you are—and don’t forget to sparkle responsibly. 💖

If you have any questions or are interested in getting involved, please reach out to Delaney Lawson at the Knoxville Entrepreneur Center (KEC).

A heartfelt thank-you to everyone who gathered with us at The Exchange Table this morning. Under the thoughtful guidance of Bonnie Casamassima, we reflected on what’s thriving in our businesses and where we’re seeking fresh perspective.

The result? Genuine connection, shared wisdom, and a reminder that entrepreneurship doesn’t have to be done alone.

Join us for a morning of authentic connection, reflection, and exchange at The Exchange Table. Guided by Bonnie Casamassima , we’ll begin with a grounding moment of intention to center ourselves and set the tone for open, meaningful conversation.

Through a blend of solo reflection, group sharing, and a collaborative share board, each participant will have the opportunity to both give and receive insight. You’ll leave not only with fresh ideas and clarity but also with the encouragement that comes from gathering around the table with peers who truly get it.

Join us at our monthly WiE lunch meetup at Noon at Kern’s Food Hall!

We gather at the high tables between the shopping and food vendors (near Disco Chicken). Be on the lookout for one another, admins are not always able to make it!

Just show up, grab lunch, and mingle! There is not planned programming. This is just another opportunity outside of our typical 2nd Tuesday meetings to meet and connect with your fellow WIE!

Note: We will not meet in December for this WiE lunch due to the Holidays.

Join us on August 12th for “Potentia: The Root Structure You Didn’t Know You Needed (For Yourself and Your Business)” led by ! More details and registration link to follow!
.......

Just do it, they said. Growth is at the edge of your comfort zone, they said. You can build your own business, they said. So you jumped off the cliff. And then realized that no one handed you a parachute.

Maybe you (and/or your team) feel confused, anxious or frustrated. Maybe you feel plagued by your own (or others’) sabotage, anxiety, or resistance. Maybe you feel all of these things at once.

The path of entrepreneurship invites you to come face to face with your own edges of self-trust, resourcing and belief. The path of leadership challenges you to expand your capacity not only to hold your own vision, but also to resource and support others as they endeavor (and sometimes struggle) to hold the vision with you.

Holding the vision for your business (and the complex change that is an inescapable reality of business ownership) with the right root structure to support you will increase your capacity to realize the vision you have for yourself and your business, without sacrificing your body, mind and soul in the process.

Change is inevitable. But being sucked dry of your life force while trying to keep your vision alive isn’t.

Join us at the Knoxville Entrepreneur Center on August 12th and leave with:

1. A greater understanding of a framework that can support your capacity to hold vision and manage complex change

2. Prompts you can use on a regular basis to re-align your root structures to support where you are growing next

3. Insight into what “resistance” can mean and how getting curious can help you move through it

4. What the seasons can teach us about the process of becoming; as individuals, as leaders, as businesses (TLDR; “growth” isn’t linear)
