Brothers & Sisters — Why should YOU attend Prince Hall Day on the Hill?

Tennessee legislative leadership has publicly committed to aligning with the White House on immigration policy. While bills are still in committee, conversations are already happening that could significantly expand state-level enforcement.

We don’t have to guess what that could look like. Other cities have shown us the baseline when federal and local enforcement align:

• Door-to-door ICE checks
• Regional or statewide checkpoints
• Increased ICE presence in schools and hospitals
• A broader, more visible enforcement footprint in daily life

These are not theoretical. They are real-world outcomes—and decisions shaping Tennessee’s path are being made right now, before final votes.

That’s why we’re going to the Hill:
to hear directly from our elected leaders, understand what “alignment” may mean in practice, and ensure our voices are present while there is still time to influence outcomes.
