🏡🐾A DREAM WE’VE HAD FOR YEARS IS FINALLY FEELING REAL!🐾🏡

Hey everyone! We’re so excited to share some mockups of what our future Whisker Woods Rescue building could look like! Not every detail is exact, but these give you a pretty good idea of what we’re dreaming of. ❤️

To say I’m excited is an understatement. Having a building of our own has been a hope and dream of mine for years. A place where we can help more animals, provide the care they deserve, and give so many more lives a second chance. Being able to turn that dream into reality would mean more than words can explain. 🥹🐱

Our general building fund is through GoFundMe, and right now, our main goal is to raise enough to get the building and begin working on it. Once we have the building secured, we can focus on adding supplies, cages, and everything else needed to make it functional for the animals in our care.

Every donation, share, and bit of support brings us one step closer to making this dream a reality. We know it will take time and a lot of work, but we’re ready to put our hearts into making this happen for the animals who need us. ❤️

Help us build a future where we can save even more lives!🐾🏡

🐾Update on Sweet Pearl!❤️

Pearl’s X-rays showed no fractures, thankfully! Her leg is still very swollen, so we’re most likely looking at a soft tissue injury.

Unfortunately, we were only able to cover part of her vet visit and still have a remaining balance of $130. Any donation, no matter how small, would mean so much and help us get this bill covered! 🐱💕

Thank you for always supporting Whisker Woods Rescue and the kitties who need us! 🐾

We are currently at the vet. She has a fever and her leg is too swollen to feel the bone so we are getting X-rays. Fingers crossed it’s not broken🤞🏼

🚨URGENT DONATIONS NEEDED FOR PEARL!🚨💔

Sweet Pearl was found in a concerning condition this morning. Upon examining her, we noticed her back leg is extremely swollen, and we fear it may be broken.

Pearl is still just a kitten and needs veterinary care ASAP. She will likely need to be seen at BluePearl, but we are hoping to get her into our vet as soon as possible.

Emergency care can be expensive, and we need your help to get Pearl the treatment she deserves! Every donation, no matter how small, makes a difference. If you can’t donate, please share! 🐾❤️

🐾A Couple of Updates from Whisker Woods Rescue!🐾

We’re running low on a couple of important supplies and need to restock our fluids and vaccines! Our little panleukopenia fighters used up quite a bit of our fluid supply while we helped them through their recovery. ❤️‍🩹 We’re so grateful to have been able to care for them, but now it’s time to replenish what we need to continue helping the next cats in need!

🎃And get ready for some Halloween fun!🎃 We’ll be hosting a Halloween fundraiser, with more details coming next week!

In the meantime, start pulling out your pets’ best Halloween costumes because we have some spooky fun coming your way! 👻🐈‍⬛

Thank you for always supporting Whisker Woods Rescue and helping us care for the cats who need us. We couldn’t do this without you! ❤️🐾

💙Sweet Maverick needs our help!💙

Maverick’s anxiety has been especially severe over the last few days. His vet is prescribing anti-anxiety medication in hopes of helping him settle and feel more comfortable.

We do believe that not being neutered may be contributing significantly to his anxiety and behaviors. Getting him neutered as soon as possible would be the best thing for him and could make a big difference in helping him feel more at ease.

Unfortunately, because of his specific needs, we won’t be able to take him through our usual clinic and will need to have his neuter done through our veterinarian. This means the cost will be quite a bit higher than we had originally hoped.

If anyone is able to donate toward Maverick’s neuter and veterinary care, we would be incredibly grateful. Every donation, no matter the amount, helps us give this sweet boy the care he needs. 🐾💙
