Many thanks to Paul Murphy and Frank O'Leary who presented Valentia Island Community Hospital with a cheque for €2,500 raised at the Duffs Christmas Day swim we are very grateful to the organisers and all the swimmers who gave so generously. Valentia Hospital has been very lucky to have benefitted from this fantastic event many times which has been running now for over 60 years ❤️

Christmas Magic is in the air here at the Valentia Community Centre.

We'll be hosting a cozy and magical (Christmas Movie Night) for all the kiddos on the 17th of December.

Movie starts at 4pm
Ages: 3-12years

(A special guess will be making an appearance)

Chicken nuggets & chips
Drinks and popcorn all inclusive in this price.

€10 per child or €15 for 2 siblings.

Booking is essential for this movie due to supplies that is needed.

WINTER WONDERLAND IS BACK THIS CHRISTMAS!!

Come along and join us here at the Valentia Community Centre on the 20th of December at 2pm

We are welcoming all families near and far to have a fun filled festive day playing in the snow with some very special friends all the ways from the north pole.

We have lots planned for the kiddos to enjoy on the day! From eating cookies and drinking hot chocolate with the elves, to ornament and cupcake decorating, Jewellery making, and helping Mrs Claus feed her real Alpaca Reindeers.
We'll have festive face painting and a bounce around on the obstacle course/bouncy castles with the mean old Grinch, Santa himself and many of he's friends.
plus much much more on the day

Refreshments also provided for parents.

This event will cost €20 per child and €50 for 3 siblings.

Booking is essential for this Christmas event due to supplies needed.

Valentia Hospital would like to express our gratitude to Niall and Skellig Skies Media who very kindly shared the coverage of the South Kerry Championship games last weekend with the residents of Valentia Hospital. They thoroughly enjoyed the matches and when your not in a position to be able to attend this is such a fantatsic service to have, the coverage was incredible and the commentary and interviews added so much to the experience. We wish Niall and Skellig Skies Media contuinued success and again our sincere thanks for thinking of us 🥰
