Meet our 1st Wired Up Champion of the month, Tavion Lucky. December 4, 2022, Tavion's mother, Natasha, received a phone call that no parent can ever be prepared for. She was told her son was in a horrific car accident and was rushed to the hospital with life threatening injuries. He had badly bruised lungs struggling to breathe on his own and his head was swollen to the point he did not look like himself.

This has been a long journey and Tavion's progress is nothing short of a miracle. Natasha is Tavion's full-time caregiver and is doing everything in her power to help Tavion have a normal way of life. She drives 45 minutes multiple days a week to get him the care needed at the doctor's office and therapy.

Tavion is a ray of sunshine, has a sense of humor and still has a love for music. Tavion and Natasha's faith has grown right along with his healing process.

Send them encouraging words and continue to pray for our TBI survivors and their family members.

Support group for caregivers is coming soon!

There are benefits in the vibration plates. They can help:
1. Improve body awareness and balance
2. Enhance sensory input
3. Support lymphatic drainage
4. Gentle muscle relaxer
They offer benefits and upon your healthcare provider's approval, they can be used as your rehabilitation or therapy regimen.

I am going to add this into Tory's routine, roughly about 3 times a week, and hopefully see positive results.

This is what love and support looks like. In the past 7 1/2 years I have taken my son to the doctor maybe 5 times by myself. My family is respite and they will not let me do this alone. Get you a good support system, life would be so much easier. ❤️
