Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorported ® Chi Rho Omega Chapter was the 119th graduate chapter chartered in the Marvelous Mid-Atlantic Region on August 28, 2004. We are proud to celebrate ten years of dedicated service to the residents of Knightdale, Rolesville, Wake Forest, Wendell and Zebulon. Our award winning chapter prides itself on demonstrated excellence. Our chapter is the home of over 80

members actively engaged in working with the community to implement programs tailored to provide Global Leadership through Timeless Service. We faithfully reach out and collaborate with the community to identify and address areas of concern locally, nationally and globally that align with our National Program initiatives: Emerging Young Leaders, Health, Economic Security, Global Poverty, Social Justice & Human Rights and Internal Leadership for External Service.

Our CRO participants were delighted to be joined by our Chapter President and Golden members for a charming Sisterhood Tea Party filled with laughter, fellowship, and fun. From creative tea party names and interactive games to meaningful conversations across generations, it was a beautiful celebration of connection and sisterhood.

Even sweeter? We were able to support a local Black-owned business while creating memories that will last a lifetime. 💕🌸

The women and families served by the Dorothy Mae Hall Women’s Center often arrive in need of more than shelter—they need the everyday essentials that help restore dignity, stability, and hope.

Join Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® Chi Rho Omega Chapter as we support this vital community resource through our Donation Drive on Saturday, May 30, 2026, from 9:30 AM–12:30 PM at J. Ashley Hall Town Square in Wendell, NC.

CRO partnered with their Mental Health Committee for their 3rd annual Mental Health & Wellness Fair. The day was filled with local wellness vendors, health education, giveaways, line dancing, and a dynamic panel discussion promoting mental health support and overall well-being.

Today’s Mental Health & Wellness Fair was a beautiful reminder that healing, connection, and community matter. 💚🩷

Thank you to everyone who attended, shared resources, supported others, and helped create a safe space for conversations around mental health.

Special thanks to Town of Wake Forest Mayor, Ben Clapsaddle, for his support of mental health and wellness initiatives in Eastern Wake County, and to our panelists for sharing their wisdom and experiences.
