✨Introducing Our 2026 Grand Marshal: Shelley Griffith Trumbly!
We are beyond thrilled to announce that this year’s Grand Marshal is a woman whose heart is as big as the Klamath Basin itself—Shelley! ❄️
A lifelong resident of Klamath Falls, Shelley has spent her years pouring love back into the place she calls home. From raising four boys to serving our community as an RN and QMHP, her journey has always been about healing and helping others.
🐎 A Dream with a Purpose 🐎
Ten years ago, Shelley turned a lifelong passion into a lifeline for our community by founding Solid Ground Equine Assisted Services. What started with just one client has blossomed into a sanctuary that serves over 1,000 people every year.
By merging her medical expertise with the soul-stirring power of horses, Shelley has created a safe, non-judgmental space for:
✨Children & At-Risk Youth finding their footing.
✨Veterans seeking peace and connection.
✨Individuals with disabilities breaking barriers.
✨Trauma survivors building resilience and trust.
❤️ It Takes a Village
Shelley is the first to tell you that this isn't a solo journey. This past year alone, 75+ volunteers gave over 2,200 hours of their time to keep this mission galloping forward. It’s a beautiful reminder that when we come together, we minimize isolation and build a stronger, more unified Klamath.
"To the world you may be one person, but to one person you may be the world." — Dr. Seuss
Shelley lives by the belief that while we may not change the entire world, we can certainly change someone’s world. She is a testament to what happens when you follow a calling with faith and grit.
Join us in celebrating Shelley! 🎊 Let’s give her the loudest cheer of the parade to thank her for a decade of changing lives, one hoofbeat at a time.
