From the National Council for Certified Dementia Practitioners:
Pay Attention to Changing Daylight
As the days become shorter, a person living with dementia may become more tired, restless, or confused later in the day.
Make the most of daylight by planning outdoor activities earlier when possible.
Open curtains and blinds during the day to bring in natural light and make sure indoor spaces are well lit as evening approaches.
Maintaining a calm and familiar evening routine can also help ease the transition.
