Today’s Mobile Food Pantry was a huge success! 🚐 🥫✨

Our team provided services at two separate locations in Poinciana & welcomed families to help meet a critical need in our community that continues to impact many households: food insecurity.

We are grateful for every opportunity to provide support, encouragement, and access to nutritious food!

But to continue providing these vital services, we need your support! Your donations help make programs like the Mobile Food Pantry possible and allow us to reach even more families in need.

If you are looking for food or emergency financial assistance, The Salvation Army of Osceola County’s Mobile Food Pantry will be available tomorrow (Friday, August 14th) at the two following locations:

1. Poinciana Christian Church- 3181 Pleasant Hill Rd, Kissimmee, FL

2. Osceola Community Health Services at Poinciana- 109 N Doverplum Avenue, Poinciana, FL

Families and individuals in need are welcome. ❤️

Please make sure to bring a photo ID and if possible, register online by scanning the QR code on the Mobile Pantry flyer. The link is also accessible in our Instagram Bio!

Other available services include emergency rent and utility assistance for qualifying households, pantry support, and emotional and spiritual care. 🚐 🥫✨

Happy first day of school, Osceola County! 🎒📚

We’re wishing all students, teachers, and parents an amazing 2026–2027 school year!

Last week, Major DeeAnn Glick and Sergeant Carla Hetrick of The Salvation Army of Orlando delivered boxes of essential school supplies to two Osceola County K-8 schools-Celebration School and Westside K-8 School alongside Osceola County District 1 Commissioner Peggy Choudhry !

From backpacks and shoes to calculators and headphones, these supplies will help students start the new school year prepared, confident, and ready to learn. ❤️

We’re proud to support our local schools and help make sure students have the tools they need for a successful start to the school year!

At The Salvation Army Orlando Area Command, we understand that back-to-school season can be a stressful time for many families.

That’s why our staff and volunteers have been working hard to prepare backpacks filled with essential school supplies, to help students in Orange and Osceola counties start the school year with confidence.

Thank you to the volunteers from the Islamic Society of Central Florida (Islamic Society of Central Florida ) for helping us sort through school supplies yesterday. Your contribution has a huge impact on the community!

Together, we’re helping ensure every child has the tools they need to learn, grow, and succeed. Wishing all Orange & Osceola County students a safe, successful, and inspiring school year! 🍎📚🎒

It takes a village, and our village showed up in a BIG way! ❤️

A heartfelt thank you to the incredible volunteers, churches, and community partners who helped make our Summer Kids Food Pantry event a success. Because of your generosity and willingness to serve, local families received not only food, but encouragement, dignity, and hope.

Today was a beautiful day of service at our Summer Kids Food Pantry Distribution.

When school is out, many children lose access to the consistent meals they depend on throughout the week. Summer can be a challenging time for families facing food insecurity, and that’s where community comes in. ❤️

Because of your support, we were able to help meet a real need today providing food, hope, and relief to children and families right here in Osceola County. Every bag distributed is more than groceries; it’s nourishment and care for our neighbors.

Thank you for standing with us as we work to ensure no child goes hungry this summer.

🍩 Happy National Donut Day! 🍩

Today, families who registered for The Salvation Army of Osceola County’s Mobile Food Pantry will receive a sweet surprise along with their groceries, complimentary donuts courtesy of The Salvation Army and Krispy Kreme.

As we work to help ensure our neighbors have access to nutritious food and essential support, we’re grateful for opportunities to add a little joy along the way.
