This past week I had the opportunity to attend the NEA-RA. It was an amazing and eye - opening experience. I met awesome teachers from around our great country. I worked with many educators from across the state on the host committee. I got to hear first hand about some of the various issues teachers face and witnessed the governing body vote on which issues the NEA will be championing and supporting. I am feeling reenergized by speeches given by the NEA president , NAACP president and our very own FEA president. If you are ever presented with an opportunity such as this, I highly recommend!
