Haven at Foxwood Farm A place where farm animals can feel the grass beneath their feet, the sun on their faces and a home to live out their days in happiness.

For as long as I can remember, I have felt the most comfortable in the company of animals. I decided at a very young age that I wanted to create a sanctuary where farm animals can live out their lives in safety knowing and feeling that no harm would ever come to them. After my children were old enough to not “hang” with their parents anymore we decided to take a leap of faith. Haven at Foxwood Farm was that leap. We are a place of peace and tranquility.

Now that the days are a little cooler (until this week🥵) Quinn and Orla have been spending time in their side yard.

The "weeds" and grasses have grown so high and full that you have to look closely to find them.

How sweet.

It warms my heart seeing them enjoy the great outdoors protected from all things harmful.

Jon has been working hard on the electrical to their shed so they are toasty warm when the cold winds of winter start to blow.

They have truly enjoyed his company.

I love these ladies and I'm so happy that they are happy ❤️

Just outside my kitchen window is my cutting garden. Well, Zinnia garden as nothing else grew, 😂.

This morning I saw this little man and it brought a smile to my face. He fell asleep while collecting pollen. He has probably been there all night as cooler weather made its way here last night. He didn't wake up til late morning. I actually was afraid that he had passed away but when my son noticed his little antenna moving about he let me know he's just waking up

Yay!!! We watched him fly away with a heavy load of pollen around his legs. Like little ski boots🤗

Be safe little man. Come back any time you need a refresher❤️

My apologies.

I completely forgot to Thank the beautiful people who came out to the Hambden Handmade Market last Sunday.

You knew there was a threat of rain all day long and you grabbed your raincoat and umbrella and said "Bring it on!, I'm going shopping"

Thanks to Mom Nature you got hours of good shopping in before she decided to have a little fun. It's Ok. It was the last hour of the show and you still stayed under your umbrellas popping in and out of vendor tents making your way to your car shopping along the way.

We are grateful for you.♥️
