The League of Women Voters of Lake County is a nonpartisan political organization encouraging informed and active participation in government. It influences public policy through education and advocacy. They do not support or oppose any political party.

In part, they manage events that allow local communities to learn more about the Candidates and Issues that are up for election. The PTA is excited to host the LCLWV as they moderate a voter forum event that will take place at Kirtland Elementary School in Hornet Hall at 7:00pm on October 16th. During this event the LCLWV will provide members of their board to filter questions submitted by community members to a LCLWV moderator.
