This playground isn't just about the kids. It is all-inclusive for all ages and all abilities. There are many families with a parent or grandparent who need an accessible playground. At Kirkwood Inspiration Playground parents and grandparents can enjoy the features of this playground together with their family members. Kirkwood Inspiration Playground is bringing families together for a fun time at the park.

We are excited to announce the official Grand Opening of Kirkwood Inspiration Playground on October 21st at 10 am. The Playground is located in Veterans River Park, Kirkwood, NY. The Friends of Kirkwood Community would like to invite you all to join us as we celebrate the opening of Kirkwood's first all-inclusive handicap accessible playground.

NEED THE COMMUNITIES HELP! Kirkwood Inspiration Playground is being built for the enjoyment of kids and adults in our community and surrounding areas. I was so disappointed when I went to check the surfacing and found someone vandalized the equipment with black spray paint. We are involving the police. However, maybe you know this handwriting or who makes their exclamation mark the way it is painted. This happened yesterday. If you have any leads, please private message me or contact John Finch at the Town Highway Garage. The Playground will be opening soon and we want it to be a fun, beautiful play area for all.

It's an exciting day of many to come over the next few weeks. Today they are removing the sod and starting to prep the area for Kirkwood Inspiration All-Inclusive Playground.

You know what this means, we are getting closer to our Playground build date. We now have 9 new Handicap Accessible parking spots near the walkway to the all-inclusive playground location.

We had our playground meeting today at Veteran's River Park so we could see the size of the playground flagged out. The 5 ladies are standing at flags so you can see the size. We are getting closer to having this playground built.
