K-9 Officers Rusty and Carlene continued their diligent service, providing invaluable support to the hardworking agents of the Bureau of Indian Affairs. It is a privilege to collaborate with BIA agents and Tribal wildlife officers, who oversaw our operations and ensured a successful mission.

Carlene and Rusty are commended for their exceptional work in the field today under extremely challenging conditions, including temperatures exceeding 90 degrees, 60% humidity, and 30 mph winds. The terrain was particularly demanding, with hip-level grass and brush densely packed in tree thickets and marsh land. Despite the difficult working conditions, they demonstrated outstanding dedication and perseverance. Nicely done, Rusty and Carlene. Thank you both for your hard work, determination, and service.

Elizabeth Police Chief Engel takes a moment to express heartfelt appreciation to K-9 Officer Carlene, a well-deserved gesture for a dedicated K-9 officer. K-9 Officer Carlene enjoyed meeting attendees with a delightful presence at this wonderful event. On this warm day K-9 Officer Carlene greatly appreciated the shade and cold water at some of vender tents.
