Patriot Hill Ranch is a sanctuary for our brave wounded warriors and their loved ones. https://patriothillranch.com/ The plan was simple.

Many of Meggin & Shane’s family are decorated military (WWII, Vietnam, Afghanistan) and Meggin’s brother is a police Captain and SWAT Commander. So, both Shane and Meggin understand the sacrifices made by these patriots, even though they have never served themselves. The plan was always to start the foundation after Shane sold SMD (a company he co-founded with Scott Mondore). Shane and Scott sold the company in 2019 – at that point Shane and Meggin got serious with the foundation. Shane and Meggin would build the lodge and supporting infrastructure with their own funding. Once the doors open, Patriot Hill Ranch would then accept donations to cover operating expenses. We are thrilled to announce that Patriot Hill Ranch will open its doors the fall of 2023. SWAT round up last Nov. TAC89 Founder Andy said, “I have someone you need to meet”

Meet my friend Hali. It was a conversation that had a lasting impression. Eight months later Hali and her family joined us at the ranch, for a stay that I won’t soon forget. Hali is the definition of grit, determination & a keep fighting attitude. She has been through hell and back. Almost died in the line of duty after being shot with her partners while on duty in Lafayette LA. Hali is paralyzed in her left foot. Over the last three years she has fought for justice, been an advocate for mental health, pushed to get back to the gym and the most profound step, she found her faith. She is part of the PHR family and I am proud to call her my friend. Can’t wait to see what’s next for you Hali!!! Love, Meggin

Patriot Hill Ranch was proud to host its Second First Responder Appreciation Day. Saying thank you to those that serve the local communities is something that we will continue to do. Let’s be honest, it is the least we can do.

What made this year even more special, we had not one but two guest speakers join us. Hali Bradford, Paralyzed to Purpose, and Andy Rodriguez, Founder, TAC89HumanPerformance. You could hear a pin drop as they both shared testimony of surviving the unthinkable, being critically injured in the line of duty. How what they went through individually in totally different states, on the same night in August 2023 has changed them. Fighting every day to find their new normal and how it fuels them to inspire others.

Can’t wait to do it again next year.

Patriot Hill Ranch is proud of its partnership with the Choctaw Nation. In early June we had several small veteran group retreats. Lots of fishing and great memories. The kids took full advantage of the lake. “I need a worm on my line, help!!!” 🐛🐛🐠🐠

We are kicking off a Patriot Hill Ranch summer in review with the first of several posts. What is more perfect for a Memorial Day weekend than hosting Mike! Still holds ranch record for most hogs down. Stay tuned for more fun! Special thanks to Mondore Media for help with this project.

PHR hosted a men’s retreat for an amazing group of veterans! We had a blast and made some memories. Check out a few photos and some awesome thermal videos from the weekend!!

We kicked off our 2026 season at Patriot Hill Ranch with one heck of a weekend!! Mike said “Yeah killing some hogs will be fun.” Well did he ever….not 1 or 2 but 11 total!!!!! Mike, it was an honor to spend time with you and say thank you for service!! Welcome to the family!!! 🐷🐽
