Kiwanis Club of Kingston, PA

Kiwanis Club of Kingston, PA Founded in 1915, Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at a time.

Today, there are more than 280,000 Kiwanis members in 96 countries. In January 2006, the Kiwanis Club of Kingston Pennsylvania was born. Our club conducts projects aimed at young children and the community. We support early literacy by reading to children at a local pre-school and promote the joy of reading by giving each child a book they can take home and share with their parents. We also contin

ue to sponsor an Easter Egg Hunt for the children of every pre-school in the Municipality of Kingston. In the recent past, we donated $5,000 to purchase books for the new children's wing of the Hoyt Library and raised money and toys for the Marine Corps Toys for Tots Program. In October 2010, we met our goal to sponsor a K Kids Club for elementary students in the Wyoming Valley West School District at the 3rd Avenue School and it's still going strong today!
