Fine Arts Boosters of Camden County High School, GA The Fine Arts Boosters (FAB) is the supporting link of the Camden County High School Fine Arts Program.

FAB supports the Arts, Chorus, Dance, and Theater Programs of CCHS. Please consider joining and supporting the youth and staff.

✨ Teacher Spotlight: Thomas Purvis – Camden Success Academy Teacher of the Year ✨

Mr. Thomas Purvis is a middle school math teacher at Camden Success Academy, serving students in grades 6–8. With 12 years in education, he brings dedication, patience, and a strong commitment to student success.

He became a teacher because he enjoys seeing the “light bulb” moment when a student truly understands a concept they once struggled with. Mr. Purvis also values the supportive environment at Camden Success Academy and says the best part of his job is working alongside a staff that always puts students first.

Outside the classroom, he enjoys fixing things (even if he complains a little first!) and relaxing through kayak fishing. If he weren’t teaching, he’d likely be a pilot or a full-time kayak fisherman.

His personal motto says it best:
“If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.”
