Spring Conference gave us the chance to celebrate something we love about Soroptimist — the way women show up, serve, lead, and support one another in so many different ways.

This year, we were proud to honor our SI Kingman members Deb Leverance for her service on the Golden West Region Bylaws Committee and Toni Swats for the wonderful technical skills she shares with Spring Conference and the ongoing needs of the Golden West Region.

Their gifts may look different, but both are such beautiful examples of service behind the scenes — the kind of work that helps keep our region connected, organized, and moving forward.

And of course, one of the best parts of conference is simply sharing time together. Around the table, in conversation, with laughter, encouragement, and friendship — these are the moments that remind us why Soroptimist is so special.

At Spring Conference, one of the most meaningful moments was watching women from across our region join hands and say the Soroptimist Pledge together.

It was a beautiful reminder that Soroptimist is more than meetings, programs, and fundraising. It is a fellowship of women committed to service, friendship, achievement, integrity, and making life better for women and girls.

In that room, standing hand in hand, we were reminded that our mission is bigger than any one club — but it is carried forward by each woman who shows up, serves, leads, encourages, and believes in the dreams of others.

One year ago, the City of Kingman declared June 20, 2025, as **Soroptimist International of Kingman Day** in honor of our club’s 75th anniversary and decades of service to women and girls.

This year, as we continue into our **76th year**, we remember that special recognition with gratitude — and we keep moving forward with purpose.

For 76 years, Soroptimist International of Kingman has been part of this community’s story: investing in dreams, supporting education, creating opportunities, and standing beside women and girls as they build brighter futures.

We are proud to serve in Kingman, proud to carry the Soroptimist mission, and proud to be part of a legacy that keeps growing. 💙💛

SI Kingman brought home the Lip Sync Contest win at Spring Conference — and what a joy it was! 💙💛

But the best part was watching everyone contribute in their own way.

From the handmade headbands to the skirts, from the crowd interaction to the members willing to wear full troll outfits to dinner, every detail came together because someone said yes. Some brought creativity. Some brought humor. Some brought courage. Some brought energy. And everyone brought support.

That is what makes Soroptimist International of Kingman so special. We don’t all have the same gifts, but when each person brings what they have — and we cheer one another on — something beautiful, hilarious, and memorable happens.

Spring Conference reminded us once again that service, friendship, and fun go hand in hand.

And that is also why we invite you to join us.
