Folks, I know it is frustrating when the weather doesn’t cooperate but PLEASE DO NOT leave recycling when we aren’t open. David Jones volunteers every weekend with the volunteer groups and when bags are left outside it means he or I have to make sure it is taken care of before an animal drags it all over the parking lot and beyond. It also means we have to dig through someone’s trash to sort it all out (and this batch was rained on).
So please be courteous and wait until we are open to recycle. You can always message us here and arrange a time to meet you if you absolutely can’t wait.
Your mindfulness of the volunteers time is greatly appreciated.

Happy Earth Day!
The Blue Eye 5th and 6th grade classes visited EarthWise last week to learn about recycling and to recycle old text books.
We were happy to have them and their recycling led to almost two dumpsters full of textbooks!

Hi everyone! We will be CLOSED this weekend, April 18th. We do not have a volunteer group scheduled. David and I will be out of town so we won’t be able to coordinate with individual volunteers like we normally try to do when we don’t have a group.
