Killington kids were busy this morning making posters for the boot drive! When you see us on the access road Saturday morning collecting donations, don’t be shy! The money will help ensure all Killington kids can ski!!

KES kids can help too!

Now that the kids have officially named the new playground, YETI KINGDOM, it's time to focus on phase two installations for 2022. We have high goals to build a brick walkway (recognizing donors) while making the playground more accessible, and adding more features into the hillside.

Any KES kid that donates $1 or more will be a YETI PRIDE sponsor.

KES Kids’ Kingdom Rebuild update for any community members (near and far) who would like to learn more about the project and may be interested in helping our committee with creative design ideas and fundraising efforts! Killington Elementary School PEAKS will be hosting an “Open Meeting” next Tuesday, 6/15 at 8AM ET to review scope of work and fundraising plans thru this summer. All are welcome and encouraged to attend. Thank you for your continued support!

The Huck Finn Catfish Derby starts at 11am!!! We will be fishing until 2pm so you have time to give it a try! $5 registration - we have the poles - all proceeds go to The Kids Kingdom Initiative to build a new playground at KES.

Hello KES Parents! We’re still in need of 2-3 volunteers to assist with registration and event logistics for the Huck Finn Catfish Derby next Saturday, June 5th at The Foundry at Summit Pond. Set up for the event will begin at 9:30AM, registration and event kick-off is scheduled for 11AM, and the Derby will run thru 2PM. Looking for help setting up tables, tents, welcoming and registering guests. Also, if any brave souls in this parent group are comfortable with “de-hooking” catfish, we could use help there as well. 😉

ALL PROCEEDS from this event will be donated to the KES PEAKS Kids’ Kingdom Rebuild Initiative. Should be a great day!

Outdoor classroom, new bridge and a new playground safely away from the parking lot are all coming soon to Killington Elementary School. We will be launching The Kids' Kingdom Fundraising Initiative, Phase 2 "Design and Dedication" soon!
