Thank you to everyone who donated to our shoe drive here at HWDS Foundation! Because of your generosity, we were able to serve our local Killeen community and make a meaningful impact.

We were honored to donate the collected shoes to Families in Crisis, an organization dedicated to supporting individuals and families facing hardship—providing essentials, resources, and compassionate assistance during difficult times.

Together, we’re helping our neighbors take steps toward stability and hope. 💛

HWDS Foundation’s first annual Trunk or Treat was pure magic because of YOU. To every volunteer who decorated a trunk, handed out candy, set up, cleaned up, or simply showed up with a smile—you didn’t just give kids a fun Halloween. You created a space where neighbors became friends, where every child felt seen, and where our Killeen community came together. Full circle. Felt by all of us.

Last night, our HWDS Foundation team had the honor of presenting a $1,000 check to the Boys & Girls Club of Central Texas—funds raised through our Community Connection 5K.

This wasn’t just a donation. It was a moment. That organization poured into me as a kid, and being able to pour back into it with our team beside me? That’s legacy. That’s movement with meaning.

HWDS isn’t just about fitness—it’s about showing up for youth, building community, and creating real opportunities. That’s what this partnership represents.

To every volunteer, vendor, and sponsor who helped make this happen: you didn’t just support an event. You helped us turn effort into impact. We’re grateful—and we’re just getting started.
