Some battles are easier when you’ve got good people beside you.

Sometimes it’s a conversation. Sometimes it’s a few laughs. Sometimes it’s just sitting by the water, not saying a damn thing. 🎣

Join the Pond Hopper Army Foundation for an evening of friendly competition, community, and catfishing!

This month, we’re opening it up. Anglers may fish any Fort Hood body of water that is open for recreation/fishing during tournament hours. Check iSportsman before heading out and make sure your location is open and you have all required permits/authorizations.

• $20 per angler
• Optional Heaviest Catfish: +$5

• Include YOUR NAME + “Catfish Challenge” in the payment note

Registration closes at 1900 on October 9. No late or day-of registration.

Prize Pool
3+ qualifying anglers: 50% / 30% / 20%
2 qualifying anglers: 60% / 40%

🐟 TOURNAMENT FORMAT
• Channel, Blue & Flathead Catfish eligible
• Five heaviest eligible catfish count toward total weight
• Up to two active rods per angler
• Bank fishing permitted
• Kayaks, canoes, jon boats & similar small watercraft permitted
• Electric trolling motors permitted
• No combustion engines
• Official weigh-in determines tournament standings
• Fish may be legally harvested in accordance with applicable regulations

⚠️ FORT HOOD ACCESS
All anglers are responsible for maintaining current iSportsman access and required recreational permits/authorizations. Only waters open for recreation/fishing during tournament hours are eligible.

📋 Participants are responsible for reviewing and following the Official PHAF Catfish Tournament Rules before competing.
