❤️ MARKET WITH A MISSION: THIS IS WHAT COMMUNITY IMPACT LOOKS LIKE.
Last year, Market With a Mission started with a simple belief:
When a community works together, we can accomplish far more than any one organization could ever accomplish alone.
And Bell and Coryell County showed us exactly what that looks like.
🥫 90,000+ pounds of food distributed
🏠 Approximately 9,000 households reached
🩺 2,000+ medical and healthcare items distributed
🍼 2,000+ baby and infant-care items provided
👕 500+ articles of clothing distributed
🙌 More than 100 volunteers helping with setup, distribution, deliveries, family assistance and event operations
But those numbers only tell part of the story.
Behind every box of food was a family.
Behind every medical item was someone who needed it.
Behind every delivery was a senior, Veteran, working family, individual with limited transportation, or neighbor who may not otherwise have been able to reach these resources.
And behind ALL of it was COMMUNITY.

Market With a Mission means long days for our volunteers often beginning hours before the first family arrives and continuing until the last box is distributed and the Civic Center is cleaned up.
Our local restaurants and businesses stepped up to help make sure the people serving our community were taken care of, too.

And our food sponsors were only one piece of an incredible community effort.
Organizations and businesses including Central Texas Food Bank, Baylor Scott & White Faith in Action, Graze Craze, Copperas Cove Rotary, Bring Everyone In The Zone, GTC United Operation Stand Down Central Texas and many more businesses, schools, civic organizations, Veterans groups and individual volunteers contributed resources, products, services, manpower and community connections.
Some donated products.
Some fed our volunteers.
Some brought manpower.
Some provided medical and household resources.
Some connected families with services.
Some simply called and asked:
“What do you need?”
Every single contribution mattered.
And what makes this impact even more meaningful is that it was built through sponsorships, private financial support, in-kind donations, community partnerships and VOLUNTEERS.
Now we’re preparing to do it again.

But Market With a Mission has never been simply about handing someone a box of food.
Food opens the door. Connection builds community.
We bring nonprofits, businesses, healthcare organizations, Veterans organizations, schools, civic groups, volunteers and community resources into the same space so that families don’t just leave with groceries they leave knowing what resources exist and who in their community is ready to help.
This is what happens when businesses don’t just operate IN a community they become PART of the community.
This is neighbors helping neighbors.
This is community in action.
