Would you like to serve on a committee and help make a difference across Central Texas?

SAFE Central Texas — Su***de Awareness For Everyone — is looking for THREE committee members!

We are focused on building relationships throughout our communities, raising awareness about mental health and su***de prevention, and connecting people with the resources that are already available right here in Central Texas.

Committee members will help us plan and facilitate our monthly SAFE Central Texas meetings, strengthen partnerships with local organizations, and continue bringing conversations about mental health and su***de prevention into our communities.

You don’t have to represent a large organization or have a fancy title. We’re looking for people who care about the mission, are willing to collaborate, and want to help create stronger connections throughout Central Texas.

VOLUNTEERS for MARKET WITH A MISSION!

Different Skills. Same Mission. A Kinder, Stronger Community.

D&S Cuddling Critters Foundation is looking for dedicated volunteers to help us continue making a difference throughout Central Texas through our Market with a Mission community outreach program!

Following our October 9 distribution, we are already preparing for our next event on November 20, 2026, and we need YOUR help!

Whether you have a few hours to give or would like to become more involved in our community outreach efforts, there is a place for you!

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES INCLUDE:

* Unloading, organizing, and sorting food and supplies
* Assisting with family registration and check-in
* Loading vehicles and distributing resources
* Mobile delivery drivers to reach seniors, homebound residents, individuals with disabilities, and families facing transportation barriers
* Event setup, coordination, and general support

Time: 5:00 PM

Location: Stoner’s Pizza – Copperas Cove, TX

During this meeting, we will discuss volunteer opportunities, responsibilities, event preparations, and how you can become part of our growing mission.

One of the most important things we have learned through Market with a Mission is that community outreach takes more than one person. It takes individuals willing to give their time, share their talents, and work together to ensure our neighbors have access to the resources they need.

You don’t have to have experience. You just have to have a heart for serving others.

Whether you’re a student needing volunteer hours, an active-duty service member, a Veteran, a retiree, or simply someone who wants to give back, we welcome you!

MARKET WITH A MISSION OCTOBER 9, 2026

What an incredible day of community, compassion, and service!

Our October 9th Market with a Mission was a powerful reminder of what happens when a community comes together with one common goal: helping our neighbors and making sure no one is forgotten.

On behalf of D&S Cuddling Critters Foundation, I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to every volunteer, sponsor, community partner, vendor, and individual who helped make this event possible.

One of our proudest accomplishments this year was the launch of our Mobile Distribution Program!

Through this new initiative, over 300 households received food assistance delivered directly to their homes!

These are households that may otherwise have gone without assistance because of transportation barriers, limited mobility, disabilities, caregiving responsibilities, or other circumstances preventing them from attending in person.

Because serving our community doesn’t stop at the doors of an event. Sometimes, we have to bring the mission directly to those who need us most.

From distributing food, medical supplies, and baby items to connecting families with valuable community resources, every volunteer and supporter played an important role in making this possible.

To every family who came out, thank you for allowing us the opportunity to serve you. To our incredible volunteers, especially those who spent hours making deliveries throughout Central Texas, your dedication and compassion have not gone unnoticed.

Market with a Mission is so much more than a food distribution. It is about restoring hope, removing barriers, building relationships, and reminding our neighbors that they are not alone.

And we are just getting started!

As always, there are NO income requirements, NO paperwork, and NO ID required to receive assistance.

Mobile Distribution will also be available again for qualifying households, with advance registration required.

Thank you, Central Texas, for continuing to show what community truly looks like. None of this would be possible without the individuals and organizations who continue to believe in this mission.

Together, we are not just distributing resources. We are changing lives, one family at a time.

I want to give a huge thank you to every single person who has played a part in sharing Market with a Mission, whether you shared the post online, sent it directly to someone, printed a flyer, or simply spread the word in person.

A mission like this does not happen because of one person. It happens when a community comes together, watching this information continue to reach families throughout Central Texas has my heart incredibly full.

One of the biggest additions to this year’s Market with a Mission is our Mobile Distribution Program. Last year, we saw firsthand that there were families who needed these resources but simply could not physically make it to the event because of transportation, mobility, caregiving responsibilities, work schedules, or other circumstances. This year, we wanted to help close that gap by bringing the resources to them.

Through mobile distribution, we are working to reach families throughout Bell, Coryell, and Lampasas Counties, including Killeen, Temple, Harker Heights, Belton, Copperas Cove, Lampasas, Gatesville, and surrounding communities. We are also grateful for community partners who are helping us extend our reach even further.

MARKET WITH A MISSION IS BACK!

Market with a Mission, a program of D&S Cuddling Critters Foundation, is proud to present our Second Annual Holiday Food Distribution, beginning Friday, October 9, 2026, at the Copperas Cove Civic Center.

Last year, one of the biggest things we learned was that there were still members of our community who needed these resources but simply could not make it to the event.

So this year, we are bringing Market with a Mission to them.

We have established a Mobile Distribution option for individuals and families who may be unable to attend because of mobility limitations, lack of transportation, caregiving responsibilities, or other circumstances that make getting to the Civic Center difficult.

If you know a senior, caregiver, homebound individual, person with a disability, or family struggling with transportation, please share this information with them. We want to make sure they aren’t overlooked simply because they cannot physically get to us.

Our goal for our October 9 kickoff is to reach 5,000 Central Texas families.

Market with a Mission is not income-based. No paperwork. No ID. This is about neighbors helping neighbors and relieving some of the financial stress families are experiencing—especially as we head into the holiday season.

We also need volunteer drivers to help deliver food and resources to our mobile distribution households. If you are willing to volunteer your time and vehicle, please reach out to me directly.
