Happy Columbus Day!

🇺🇸🇮🇹 HAPPY COLUMBUS DAY!

On Monday, October 12, 2026, the United States celebrates Columbus Day, commemorating Christopher Columbus’s arrival in the Americas on October 12, 1492.

For millions of Italian-Americans, this day is also a celebration of Italian heritage, family traditions, and the generations of immigrants who helped shape America. ❤️

From the streets of Little Italy to Italian-American communities across the country, the spirit of Italy continues to live through food, language, music, and family values passed down from generation to generation.

Columbus Day is also a time to reflect on the complex history of exploration and its impact on Indigenous peoples.

🇮🇹 Italian roots, American dreams, and a heritage that lives on! 🇺🇸

❤️ Are you proud of your Italian heritage? Where in Italy did your family come from? Share your roots in the comments! 👇

From our President, Fred Strolle: "What a great 4th of July party held at Past president Alexandria Haselman's home on the 4th of July.

Members of the lodge were invited along with her family and friends. Her son is licensed to operate a fireworks show, so we were treated to the real deal, not sparklers you can buy at Publix. An Incredible food buffet added to the event. "
