This is likely the fastest Air Ambulance in the world.

Zooming thru the air at Mach .92 this flying ICU connects countries at almost the speed of sound.

Just another reason why Hatzalah Organizations, Medical Referral Professionals, Chabad Houses and others only trust Hatzolah Air crews to care for their patients.

At 3:12am our teams were called to fly emergently to North Carolina for a tragedy. In less than 90 minutes we were airborne.

The details are too painful to post. Please pray for this family. Together we are

Everyday Hatzolah Air gets special requests.

This time it was to care for a medically fragile female patient requesting a female crew.

This flight request would present with unique set of challenges during the 2.5 hour flight from Florida to Indiana.

Our dispatch sent the request out to our volunteers and within 8 minutes Michelle, an ER Nurse from South Florida answered the call volunteering to lead this mission, treating our patient as her family.

Every day Hatzolah Air is faced with challenges. Sometimes financial, sometimes operational and sometimes just bad people trying to throw darkness.

Yet every day God chooses Hatzolah Air to brighten the day of a family in need.

You see four guys with coconuts.

We see two pilots, and two medical professionals who just landed in the Dominican Republic ahead of tonight’s mission.

In a few short hours, they’ll be at the bedside of a patient who suffered a traumatic brain injury in a motor vehicle accident overseas. From there, they’ll remain by his side every step of the way, providing critical care during his transfer back to New York.

For now, it’s coconuts.

Soon, it’s medical equipment, flight plans, patient reports, and another family counting on us to get their loved one home safely.

A little non-alcoholic hydration before a long night ahead.

This past Friday, Israel mourns the tragic loss of four lives in separate drowning incidents across the country.

As rescue teams responded to multiple water emergencies throughout the day, HATZOLAH AIR / MDA’s Medvac Unit was in full deployment.

In one of the tragic incidents, our chopper was dispatched to the Dead Sea to rapidly transport a critical drowning patient for emergent care.

While not every call has the outcome we hope and pray for, every response is met with urgency, dedication, and a relentless commitment to saving lives.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the families affected by today’s tragedies and with our incredible responders who always answer the call.

Not every mission ends with a takeoff.

This week, HATZOLAH AIR repositioned an aircraft and crew to Baltimore for a critical pediatric transport to a higher level of care.

Our pilots arrived the day before, completed mandatory crew rest, and stood ready for the early morning transfer. But the ambulance never arrived to the tarmac as the child was sent to the ICU and sadly not fit to fly.

These are the moments few people see: aircraft moved, crews deployed, hotels booked, and resources committed — all while standing by for a patient who may never show up.

For now, we wait and pray for good news. When the call comes, we’ll be ready.

Mission Ready. Always.

MIRACLE AIRLIFT: PANAMA → ISRAEL

Following a horrific car crash in Panama involving young Israeli travelers during a post-army trip, one victim suffered severe traumatic injuries and required urgent advanced medical care.

In a remarkable international operation, coordinated a complex wing-to-wing critical-care evacuation from Panama to Israel, mobilizing two specialized medical flight crews, pilots, physicians, paramedics, respiratory therapists, dispatchers, and logistics teams across multiple countries.

Working together with Panama Hatzolah and medical teams in the United States and Israel, the patient was transported under continuous ICU-level supervision from Panama to New York before continuing onward to Israel for emergency treatment at .medical.center

The highly coordinated mission required rapid international planning, medical stabilization, flight coordination, and nonstop communication between teams across continents to safely complete the lifesaving transfer.
