Well, the rain wins again.

Due to the weather, practice has been canceled this evening. I appreciate everyone’s patience as we’ve continued to work around the rain.

We’ll see everyone Saturday at the meet, and for those who can’t make it, we’ll see y’all Monday at practice.

🏃‍♂️ Roadrunners Reminder 🏃‍♀️

We will have a quick practice this evening from 6:30–7:00 PM at Ingram High School as we prepare for our meet this Saturday in Boerne.

This will be our last big meet before District, so we want to stay sharp and ready to compete.

We will also be back in action at the Kerrville meet next Tuesday.

📢 ROADRUNNERS PARENTS UPDATE 📢

We have a busy week ahead!

First up is the Kerrville meet tomorrow evening at Tivy Stadium. Walk-up registration will be open from 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM, with the meet officially beginning at 6:30 PM.

One of the great things about these summer meets is that athletes can run as many events as they want, giving them plenty of opportunities to compete, gain experience, and have fun. This will be a great chance for our athletes to showcase all the hard work they’ve been putting in at practice. I’m excited to see them compete and I’m confident we’ll be bringing home plenty of first-place ribbons this week!

Due to the meet tomorrow, there will be NO PRACTICE this evening. I want the kids to be 100% rested, recovered, and ready to perform their best.

Also, if your athlete plans on competing in the Boerne meet this weekend, registration MUST be completed today. Registration closes tomorrow morning and once it closes, no additional entries will be accepted.

After checking the weather again, it looks like we’re going to get more rain right around practice time. We just can’t seem to catch a break with the weather lately.

There will be no practice this evening. I truly appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding through all of this. Please don’t get frustrated — the weather is completely out of our control, and my first priority will always be the safety of the kids.

See y’all tomorrow. If the weather holds up, we will practice from 6:15–7:15 PM at Ingram High School.

Roadrunners practice this evening from 6:15-7:15 PM at Ingram High School. We’ll continue getting ready for a busy next couple weeks ahead. 🔥

Also, after talking with a lot of parents about our June 6th meet in Giddings, the majority would rather participate in the Boerne meet due to the travel distance — which I’m fully on board with.

If your athlete plans on running in the Boerne meet, please get with me by Thursday so we can get everyone registered before this coming Monday.

We will also be participating in the first Kerrville ISD meet on Tuesday, June 2nd at Tivy Stadium.

🚨 ROADRUNNERS FAMILIES 🚨

Just a quick update for tomorrow’s meet in Austin! Events will begin early, so please make sure athletes arrive on time and ready to compete. Running events start at 7AM and field events begin at 8AM.

This will be a rolling schedule, so events can move quickly throughout the day. Please stay alert and listen for calls. If your athlete is doing both running and field events, make sure they check in with field officials before their event starts.

🚨 EACH PARENT WILL PICK UP THEIR ATHLETE’S PACKET. 🚨

Mrs. Vickie Jones will be there this evening, so if you would like for her to pick up your packet please reach out to me or respond under this post.

We’re looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow and competing against some great talent. Let’s represent the Hill Country the right way and have a great day! 🔥🏃‍♂️💨
