Today we’re rallying around a local mama who is starting over from scratch.

She has a sweet 1-year-old daughter and another baby girl due in October. She is working hard and doing everything she can to provide for her family, but right now she could use a helping hand as she rebuilds.

If anyone can come together to make a difference, it’s this community.

Current Needs:

For her 1-year-old daughter

* Girls clothing (24 months)

For baby girl due in October

* Baby clothes (all sizes welcome)
* Baby gear and essentials

For mama
*Clothes size 1x/2x - she is growing a tiny human and outgrowing her clothes

* Looking for a set at a low cost if available

💜 World Elder Abuse Awareness Day 💜

Today, we join others around the world in recognizing World Elder Abuse Awareness Day and raising awareness about the abuse, neglect, and exploitation that far too many older adults experience.

Our seniors deserve to be treated with dignity, respect, kindness, patience, and love. Many spent their lives caring for others, building families, serving their communities, and making sacrifices that paved the way for future generations.

Elder abuse is not only physical. It can also be emotional. Yelling at, belittling, intimidating, threatening, isolating, or constantly criticizing an older adult can leave deep wounds that are often unseen.

As our loved ones age, they may need more assistance, more understanding, and sometimes more patience. They deserve compassion, not cruelty. Their voices matter. Their feelings matter. Their lives matter.

💜 Check on your parents.
💜 Visit a neighbor.
💜 Listen to their stories.
💜 Speak kindly.
💜 Advocate for their well-being.
💜 Be the reason someone feels seen, heard, and valued today.
