Kent Recycling Center We are an all volunteer recycling center located in the Town of Kent, NY.

Tomorrow, February 28, the parking at KRC is still limited due to the recent heavy snowfall. So we would appreciate it if you would dispose of your recycling in a timely manner so parking will be available for all members. Thank you so much for your understanding and cooperation.

Tomorrow, February 25, the recycling center will be open normal hours, however, please note that there will be limited parking due to the amount of snow that we received. Any volunteers for shoveling will be greatly appreciated. Thank you and stay warm and safe

Please take note of our holiday hours:

Wednesday, December 24, 2025 Kent Recycling Center will be CLOSED. Normal hours will resume on Saturday, December 27.

Wednesday, December 31, 2025 Kent Recycling Center will be open for RECYCLING ONLY. Drop-off items will NOT be accepted. Only the main recycling building will be open.

Just a reminder that KRC will be closed this Wednesday, December 25. We will be open Saturday, December 28. Wishing everyone a very Happy Holiday!

There are now some restrictions on the electronics that will be accepted by the Town of Kent for disposal. This list shows the electronics that are accepted and those that are not. The electronics are accepted free of charge for Town of Kent residents every Wednesday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm behind the Kent Townhall.
