Hi everyone! I’m Elizabeth Gonzalez (I go by Liz). I have 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, and I’ve recently stepped into the role of agency owner of the Elizabeth Gonzalez Agency- American Family Insurance.

As a small business owner, I love helping individuals, families, and fellow business owners protect what matters most—and making insurance feel clear and manageable. I’m really looking forward to being part of the sbBH team and continuing to serve the Kenosha community. I joined sbBH because I value strong local connections, collaboration, and being around people who are committed to making a positive impact where we live and work.

One organization close to my heart is 1HOPE.Community, where I currently volunteer. Having previously been a foster parent, this mission means a lot to me, and I’m grateful to support the work they do in our community. And when it comes to favorite local businesses—there are so many great options—but I have to give a shoutout to Ruffolo's Special Pizza 2. Their lasagna is my favorite, and it’s always a go-to when I’m craving comfort food.

We are incredibly grateful to Big Hearts Small Business for hosting their first-ever Kids Helping Kids Day of Giving Back and choosing to support 1HOPE, our foster families, and vulnerable children in our community.

One of the most beautiful things about this event was seeing children learn that they don't have to wait until they're adults to make a difference. Through acts of service, generosity, and kindness, these young leaders demonstrated the power of helping others and showed what it means to care for children and families who need support.

At 1HOPE, we believe that every child deserves to feel loved, valued, and supported. Because of the efforts of Small Business, BIG Hearts and everyone who participated, more foster families will experience encouragement, more vulnerable children will receive care, and our community will continue to grow stronger together.

Thank you to Small business, BIG Hearts the children, families, volunteers, and everyone who helped make this event such a success. Together, we are raising up a generation of compassionate leaders who understand the importance of serving others.
