🍽️ Meal Train for Scott & His Family

Many of you know Scott — he's been part of the Blue Mountain Council Scouting America office team for over 20 years, always the first to show up and help others. Now it's our turn to show up for him.

In early January, Scott became seriously ill. He's been on a long road to recovery — multiple surgeries, setbacks, and a whole lot of hard days. His wife, Jennifer, has been by his side through all of it, taking on everything at home while he heals.

We're organizing a Meal Train to wrap this family in a little extra care. Dropping off a meal is such a simple thing — but it means one less thing to worry about, and one more chance for them to breathe, rest, and be together.

If you've ever appreciated Scott's time, his help, or just his presence in your community, this is a wonderful way to give a little of that back. đź’›

Every meal matters. Thank you for being part of this. 🙏

We’re coming together to organize a Meal Train for Scott and his family during a challenging season. Scott has been a valued part of the Blue Mountain Council Scouting America office team for more than 20 years, and many of us know him as someone who is always willing to give his time and support ...

We’re happy to share some good news! Scott Behrends is finally home and on the road to recovery after spending the past several months in the hospital. ❤️

As Scott and his family adjust and focus on healing, the Blue Mountain Council has organized a Meal Train to help support them during this time.

Scott is also a valued member of our Rotary Club, and this is a wonderful opportunity for us to come together and support one of our own.

If you’d like to lend a hand by providing a meal or want more information on how to get involved, please reach out to [email protected].

Let’s show the strength of our Rotary community by rallying around Scott and his family during this time.

Did you know that the Tri-City Sunrise Rotary Club helps maintain the Regional Veterans Memorial at Columbia Park in Kennewick? It’s one of the many ways our members quietly serve the community and honor those who served our country.

A huge thank you to our Rotarians who took time out of their day to ensure the memorial is always looking its best. Your dedication keeps this space beautiful, respectful, and welcoming for everyone who visits to reflect, remember, and pay tribute.

Service Above Self isn’t just a motto — it’s what our members live out in moments like these.

If you stop by the memorial, let us know what it means to you.
