"Special Connections had a fantastic field trip to Mercy Farms recently.
They took hayrides, went through the maze, learned about honey bees and fed goats, pigs, chickens and alpacas."

Cher, the beautiful horse, even came to visit while enjoying her hair brushed.

Fun Fact:: A baby alpaca is called a cria. ( Pronounced Kree-uh).

Cooking meatballs with Mrs. Kerri, music therapy with Mrs. Kat, sign language with Ms. Lu, and Zumba with Dr. P, are only a few exciting things we do at Special Connections. 😊

Carnival Fun earlier this week. Our members played games for prizes, had cotton candy, popcorn and hot dogs and chili for lunch! Ms. Marsha did face painting and temporary tattoos. A special thank you to our parent volunteers that helped with this fun event.

Special Connections experienced a magical night! We were so honored to be the beneficiary charity for the Kenner W**e and Food Event hosted by Chateau Country Club! Our program members, board members,staff and parents and families all had a wonderful time! Our members especially enjoyed greeting patrons and handing out w**e glasses!
