5th Tuesday Gathering

To All Who Belong to Rotary District 6540:

The Kendallville Rotary Club invites all members of District 6540 to meet at

Sylvan Cellars
2725 E Northport Rd
Rome City, Indiana

Tuesday, June 30 @ 6:00pm.

Those present are free to purchase dinner and drinks from the establishment.

The goal is to have Rotary members from various clubs sit together, socialize, and swap success stories so that each club may grow stronger.

Three East Noble High School sophomores were present to give a presentation regarding their leadership opportunity provided the Kendallville Rotary Club and their financial support of a group called Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA). The hope is that this trio will prod others to become persons of leadership and service.

The Kendallville Rotary ENHS Scholarship Pork Burger Fundraiser was a success because of the club's efforts, the generosity of local business leaders who purchased lunch for their employees, and the community at large who stopped by our “restaurant” located in the parking lot of the House of Spirits (Corner of US 6 and Highway 3 North) on May 22.

Last year’s success enabled the club to give $3000.00 scholarships to three East Noble High School students this year.

The Kendallville Community Learning Center and Kendallville Rotary Club financed the Armenia International Cultural Event which occurred Friday, May 8th, 2026.

The folks who attended the performance on the third floor of the CLC enjoyed some food, a wonderful performance and some very interesting information about Armenia.

Fires started at 12 o’clock noon and both trailers returned to their homes no later than 230. 300 pork burgers and probably 175 to 200 hotdogs. Nice service project for Oak Farm Montessori school.

The Kendallville Rotary Club Fishing Line Trail Clean-Up Spring of 2026

Running parallel to State Highway 6, the Fishing Line Trail was cleaned up of debris from Walmart to 1000 E and beyond. Much was accomplished and then was celebrated at Wing etc. Thanks to our sever at the restaurant who had to deal with 20 or so mostly individual customers sitting at “one” loooong table.

The event was a success because this club “endeavored to persevere.”--- Chief Dan George from Outlaw Josie Wales.
