ISO: we are looking to do some projects at the local VFW post (Veterans of Foreign Wars).
Examples:
Cleaning supplies, paint, flood lights, outdoor lighting, chain link fencing and posts, deck sealant, disposable plates, silverware, napkins ect …???
My husband (who is a veteran) and I are starting pressure wash around the memorial area and sidewalks around the building.
Please let me know if you have anything that may help.
We have a truck to pick up!

It’s getting cold out so please check on your neighbors and loved ones.
Pass along information for warming shelters and hot meal sites.
Its a good week to make soup and share it with others! Pass along thermals and cold weather gear your family doesnt need anymore.
Hand out socks, gloves, and hand warmers to those in need.
Also please drive safe as the roads may be icy.

We no are so sad to announce that the local little pantry located on shoreline in Keizer has officially been retired.
It was going strong for 5 years after being started during the COVID pandemic.
The owners like to travel and want to have time to focus on other things.
We were able to take some donations from them along with their little set up so stay tuned as we will be getting it up and running in a new area here soon! 💙.

We have also come to the point of finding homes for our feral rescues. We are still working with a few to get them fully trusting. But several are ready for their forever homes 🙂
Some have already gone to their new homes and are doing so well!
Rehoming fee is $50 ($30 refundable after they are fixed!) making the rehoming fee only $20! That goes back into our rescue efforts for more litter and food and similar needs. Thanks so much for all your support!
Now to get the rest of these baby’s to their forever homes! 💙💙💙

I have a friend that works up at Good Samaritan hospital in Portland. She works in the ER and they have a lot of homeless individuals that come in and are in need of warmer winter clothing.
They currently have an abundance of women’s clothes so the need is mostly of men’s warmer clothing. I see her once a week and can give her any donations I’m able to get together.
Thanks so much for anyone who is willing to help.

The local little pantry today. Dropped some stuff in there and it’s pretty full! Including something there on the bottom shelf that needs to be taken asap and refrigerated. 💙

Made my rounds yesterday and today. Put some things in the local little pantry and stocked up some of the little libraries.
