Lend a Paw, Save a Life! Paisley Paws Charitable Veterinary Foundation mission is to enhance the well-being of pets and veterinary professionals in need of life-saving and life-enhancing hardship support. Paisley Paws supports three program pillars:
•Life-Saving, Life-Enhancing Treatments - designed to provide financial support directly to PAWrtner clinics during times of medical crises for pet

owners who are experiencing hardship and financially unable to afford life-saving, life-enhancing veterinary care.

•Scholarship Grants to Offset Educational Debt - provides scholarship grants to senior-level veterinary students.

•Betterment of Mental Health - provides financial relief to veterinary professionals suffering from mental distress and are experiencing a mental health crisis and where medical leave is necessary to enhance mental and emotional well-being to prevent su***de. Paisley Paws is currently PAWrtnering with 152 PAWrtner Clinics in 29 states. Paisley Paws is on a mission to reduce hardship euthanasia, veterinary student debt and su***de within the profession significantly.

Today is Labor Day. Which feels like the perfect day to say thank you to the workers who make our mission possible. 🐾

To the veterinary teams at our PAWrtner Hospitals who show up every day for pets and the families who love them.

To the vet techs, receptionists, kennel staff, and everyone behind the scenes who keeps clinics running.

To the sponsors and donors whose generosity fuels this work.
To the volunteers who give their time when they could be doing anything else.
To every person who has ever helped us stop a preventable goodbye or keep a family whole.

Labor Day is for you. All of you.

Charity is more than a transaction. It is a decision to care about something bigger than yourself. 💛

Today is International Day of Charity, and we are thinking about all the ways that decision has shaped Paisley Paws Foundation.

💛 The donor who gave five dollars because it was what they could give.
💙 The clinic who committed to becoming a PAWrtner Hospital.
💛 The sponsor who said "count us in" for PAWSapalooza.
💙 The follower who shared a post that reached someone who needed it.
💛 The family who told their vet, "please, we would love to help fund an Angel Fund case someday."

Every one of those decisions has become something real. Angel Fund support for families facing an impossible bill. Mental health resources for veterinary team members in crisis. Preventable goodbyes stopped in their tracks. Families kept whole.

45% of last month's Angel Fund cases were emergencies. Real, life-threatening, minutes-matter emergencies. 🐾

That's the reality of what your support builds.

In July alone, Paisley Paws Foundation Angel Funds at our PAWrtner Hospitals showed up for:
🐾 Two dogs with life-threatening infections
🐾 Two pets who swallowed something they shouldn't have
🐾 A mama dog needing an emergency delivery
🐾 A cat who ate a toxic plant
🐾 A dog battling severe stomach and pancreas trouble
🐾 A diabetic pet in serious crisis
🐾 A pet with a dangerous, infected wound
🐾 A pet struggling to breathe

Every one of these cases was a family staring down a moment they hadn't planned for. Every one was a pet whose treatment plan moved forward because of a Paisley Paws Foundation Angel Fund.
Every one is a family kept whole.

40 times in July, our PAWrtner Hospitals removed financial barriers to care. 💛

That number represents 40 pets (21 dogs, 19 cats) across the PAWrtner network, with $28,509 in Paisley Paws Foundation Angel Fund support paid directly to hospitals. Our highest monthly total this summer.

Every case is a treatment plan that moved forward on medical need, not financial circumstance.
What that looked like in July:
✔️ Emergency surgeries for pets in crisis
✔️ A mama dog delivering puppies safely
✔️ A cat rushed in after eating a toxic plant
✔️ Life-saving care for a dog fighting a serious infection
✔️ Ongoing treatment for pets with chronic conditions
✔️ Comfort and diagnostics for senior pets and their families

Nearly half of July's cases were emergencies. Another 40% were life-enhancing care that gave pets more good days with the families who love them.
