Some girls are just born with horses in their souls. 🐴❤️

It starts with little hands reaching over stable doors, muddy boots and a pony’s name mentioned in every conversation. Soon, every birthday wish involves a horse, and no day feels complete without a visit to the yard.

Along the way, they learn that love means showing up—even when it’s cold, raining, or there are stables to muck out. They discover patience, kindness and the quiet joy of being trusted by an animal so much bigger than themselves.

And that little girl? She may grow up, but the sound of a gentle whinny will always bring her home.

We are SO proud of our Herd member, **Paisleigh**who was recently named her school’s **Principal’s Student of the Month** for the integrity she demonstrates! 🥹✨

Being recognized for choosing to do what is right, being honest, and showing strong character makes this award extra special.

Starting a new school this year was a big leap, but Paisleigh stepped outside her comfort zone, made new friends, and is growing in so many ways.

At Casey’s Place, we believe the lessons learned **Beyond the Barn** go with our kids wherever they go. Character matters. ❤️

🍂🐴 School’s out for Fall Break — and Beyond the Barn is OPEN!

Join us October 12th–16th for a week filled with horses, S.T.E.A.M., games, faith, character-building activities, and plenty of time to just be a kid. ❤️

Whew! It’s been a busy week horsin’ around! 🐴❤️

These kids are embracing every opportunity to learn, grow, and build their horsemanship skills. We’re enjoying a little cooler weather 🙏—and the horses are loving it too!

But Friday evening was extra special as military planes flew overhead. ✈️🇺🇸 It was a beautiful reminder of how thankful we are for our country, our servicemen and women, and our veterans who have sacrificed so much for our freedom.

God bless our kids, our heroes, and the USA! 🇺🇸🙏❤️

September is Su***de Awareness Month. The National Association of Mental Illness (NAMI) hopes to “Raise awareness, Spread hope, Spark meaningful action, Ensure that individuals, friends, and families have access to tools, resources, and support.”
From 2014 to 2024, over half a million lives in the US were lost to su***de. Horses can help. Studies show that equine-assisted psychotherapy can help with a variety of mental health issues including anxiety, low self-esteem, addiction, trauma, depression and antisocial behavior, which are all risk factors for su***de.

Behind the scenes, there’s always that ONE. 😂

This season, that one has been Cruzer—and **our first experience with summer sores**. One stubborn wound and countless hours of doctoring. 🐴❤️

So, like we do with every experience at Casey’s Place, we turn it into a life lesson! Patience, compassion, perseverance… and maybe figuring out which students have what it takes for the medical field. 😂🩺

Every challenge is a lesson! 💚
