May progress update! 🌻
Well, It’s been a hot old day today at Sunflower Meadow….but look at these beautiful wildflowers!! 🌸🌺🌼🌻 I’m trying to give myself some grace this month as May (otherwise known as Mayhem!) has proven to be ridiculously busy with school and work events so I’ve not been able to get here as much as I had wanted the last few weeks.
This morning a giant dump truck load of woodchips arrived (courtesy of ChipDrop!) ready for the raised planter area and free-play area. The free-standing treehouse is currently under construction, and I’m excited to start building the stage—a space where the children can dance, perform, read stories aloud, or simply follow wherever their imaginations lead them.
Tomorrow it’ll be another work day! It’s soooo wonderful seeing all of the butterflies dancing around and there are even little bunnies here too! Can’t wait until this space is filled with the sound of happy voices and laughter ❤️
