One pot, two elements.

I took these pictures with a thermal camera. Blue is cool. Orange is hot.

You can see the methane element (aka gas) inefficiently heats the air around the pot (in addition to the pot), while the induction cooktop heats the pot only. Renewable energy powers our home so this induction cooker cooks cleaner both inside and outside of my kitchen.

Thank you Sunnyvale Public Library for lending out these induction cooktops! I really enjoyed using it.
